This is a period of time where mind is at first still conscious, at least visually, of this life, and sees the usual past-future causality, is aware of duration. But most of all it is the first experience of the freedom created by leaving the body, and a much reported increase in the experience of cosmic love.

c. But after 'entering the light', i.e., full transition to the afterlife, earthlife is no longer visible, causal direction reverses, and the imagination becomes the real.
