TWELVE DECLARATIONS

I

The self is infinite and eternal.

II

The highest possible powers—god—exist and evolve within the infinity of the self.

III

The self and its evolution continue in the afterlife.

IV

There can never be an almighty god. A few of us gods, however, have evolved to such a high degree they can access of some of their superconscious powers, e. g. Jesus, Passaconaway. As our evolution continues there will be more and more such gods.

V

The universe is eternal, and therefore it was not created; it has always existed, and always will.

VI

The universe consists of both randomness and order.

VII

There is both randomness and order in our thoughts and actions.

VIII

Because of randomness, many events and thoughts happen for no reason.

IX

As we gods evolve we are creating a utopia.

X

A logical faith avoids beliefs which are extremely improbable or outright mysteries. The particular version presented here also includes some logically compatible scientific beliefs.

XI

We should not follow religious leaders, but we should adopt whatever good we might find in the many religions and their leaders.

XII

Let us all revere each other as gods.

Will Rike's reply to the following email could serve as a back-cover-blurb for this book.

When you argue against the existence of an almighty god aren't you simply arguing in favor of atheism? And even if there is no almighty god, that doesn't prove that you are a god

Thank you for your question, and your point. As to your question, most atheists claim there is no such thing as a god. We say in this little book that all persons are gods—including atheists. But we say also that the logical probability that there is an almighty god is so extremely low that belief in such an entity should be abandoned in favor of some more probable belief. Such gods as Jesus, and Allah, were indeed gods, as all persons are, but they seemed almighty to the rest of us gods because they had evolved to the point where they could reach their superconscious powers. This gave them some control over the powers of nature. But they were not almighty because it is very highly likely there cannot be such an entity, as we hope we have shown in Chapter One.
As to your point, we do not claim to prove anything. In Chapter One we offer a set of beliefs—a faith. So no proof is possible. But we use the theory of logical probability to eliminate (1) beliefs highly unlikely to be true, and (2) outright mysteries, and then we add some logically compatible scientific theories (beliefs). We hope the reader might find such a set of beliefs interesting, or even compelling.
