Dan Mahony began his work with addicted persons while a doctoral student at Columbia University. Then he spent a dozen years working on New York's Bowery and in treatment centers and shelters in the Boston area. Following that he was Clinical Supervisor at a Salvation Army facility treating addiction and training students.
Bill Moschella is the founder of the American Institute for Recovery. He is a dental surgeon who also holds a Masters Degree in community counseling, and has been working with addicted persons for twenty years in spiritual counseling and in community drug prevention programs. Dr. Moschella is also a lawyer!

IF YOU ARE UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF A SUBSTANCE AT THIS MOMENT, YOU ARE WELCOME; BUT CLICK APPENDIX 2 RIGHT NOW AND READ IT A FEW TIMES. 7. READ EVERY CHAPTER. 8. KEEP A SMALL NOTEBOOK IN YOUR POCKET.
