Assets or Addictions?

Chapter 7

THE ADDICTED CORPORATION'S TWELVE STEPS TO RECOVERY

To be spoken by the owners and officers.

1. We admit that our corporation is powerless over its addiction to wealth & power.

2. We seek through meditation or prayer the power to carry out our recovery.

3. We no longer think of our corporation as a separate entity from ourselves.

4. We believe that our higher powers can restore us to health and sanity.

5. We have made a searching and fearless moral inventory our actions.

6. We admit to ourselves and to our employees the exact nature of our wrongs.

7. We are entirely ready to remove all these defects of character.

8. We humbly ask a higher power to help us remove our shortcomings.

9. We have made a list of all employees we have harmed, and are willing to make amends to them all.

10. We have made direct amends to employees wherever possible, except when to do so would harm them or others in any way.

11. We are continuing to take a personal inventory, and when we are wrong we promptly admit it.

12. Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of working these steps, we carry this message to other corporations and intend to practice these principles in all our affairs.
